Matchmaking at Avant Première 2024 – How Does It Work?

A One-on-One matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners face-to-face and build first connections.

One-on-One Matchmaking is available from 8 Jan-8 Mar, 24/7.

1) Registration

• Register via the "Register now" button or log in to your existing profile.
• During the registration process, check your available time slots for matchmaking. You can edit these anytime in the profile setting, "My availability."
• The next step is to go to the Programme Schedule and check the 'Matchmaking Session' box for all four days of Avant Première.
• Lastly, turn on "Available for messaging" in the Account Settings in your profile.

2) Publish a business profile

Create a clear and concise business profile to raise your visibility.

• Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer potential partners and who you want to meet.
  
• Upload a photo.
• Add the "Area of Activity" tags suitable to your business. It allows other attendees to find you faster by using these filters – and vice versa. 
• A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests. Your profile will be visible before, during and after the event.

3) Browse the profiles of other attendees

• Find out who's offering interesting and promising business opportunities.
• Speakers from the Conference Programme as well as experts from the One-on-One Expert Sessions can be accessed quickly through the menu "Speakers"
  

4) Send & receive meeting requests

• Be active, not reactive.
• Send requests to those you want to meet. Adding a meaningful remark explaining why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance of your request being accepted.
• Don't forget to check your spam folder for meeting requests and messages.
  

5) Booking Rules

• All users can send meeting requests to anyone!
  
• The participant sending the meeting request also chooses the time slot, which the recipient can either decline or accept.
• Simply click on the green button to accept your meeting.

6) Matchmaking Event

• Your appointments will appear in your personal Agenda.
• Matchmaking is available from 8 Jan-8 Mar, 24/7.
